Nien-hê Hsieh's research is in ethics and economics. The focus of his research is the justified exercise of managerial authority. Within this area, topics of research include authority and work, the provision of assistance by multinational corporations, and incommensurable values and justified choice. He teaches courses in ethics and corporate responsibility and serves as Director of the Wharton Ethics Program.
